TOP 5 TRAVEL TIPS
1. SIM Card
You can purchase a SIM card when you land or now they make eSIMs which are hassle free, but do cost more and some providers will not allow you to use these.Using a local SIM will save you money (depending on your personal data plan). TIP: CHECK YOUR WIRELESS PROVIDER PLAN. MY NEW T-MOBILE INCLUDES MOST TRAVEL DATA!2. Power Bank
Phone batteries drain quickly, a little too quickly when traveling. Using data, taking photos and videos all add to the extra battery usage. Avoid a dead phone by packing an extra pwer bank, or two, or more! TIP: THESE WORK GREAT AND YOU GET 2!3. Screen Shots
Collecting screenshots of documents, accommodations, and correspondence before you take off can be a lifesaver. When you don't have access to Wi-Fi, having physical copies of documents in the form of images on your cellphone will be a huge plus. Don't forget to take a moment to organize these images so they're easily accessible in the future if you need them.4. Maps
Download a map using Google Maps, Map.me, or any preferred app that supports downloads upon reaching your destination to conserve phone battery when offline. While navigating a new city without a map can be exciting, it's also beneficial to have one handy, especially when traveling solo or searching for a five-star restaurant while exploring!5. Neutral Clothing
Pack simple neutral clothing, this way you can pack less by mixing and matching outfits. Make sure to look up the dress codes & weather before you leave, you want to make sure to respect the culture and feel comfortable while traveling. Add a pop of fun with scarf, fun top or your favorite pair of shoes! TIP: MAKE SURE THEY ARE QUICK DRY MATERIAL AND OR YOU HAVE A PLAN FOR LAUNDRY.
